This is a positive move: it shows that military has nothing to hide and it will also be good for its public image.
LONDON: This is with reference to Rauf Klasra’s report of December 31 titled “BB assassination probe: Murder plot hatched at brigadier’s home”.
It comes across as good news that the military leadership has said that it will cooperate with the investigation and allow any officer against whom evidence is given to be put on trial. This is a positive move because it shows that the military has nothing to hide and it will also be good for its public image.
As Pakistanis, we should all hope that the enquiry and the trial will be fair and unbiased and the people responsible for this crime will be convicted and punished. This is the only way to prevent further such assassinations of our leaders.
