Bridal Couture Week soon to be back
Showcase to take place from December 11 to 13 in cultural hotspot Lahore

Drumroll, please. Telenor Bridal Couture Week (TBCW) is set to return for its 11th edition later this year and the dates have been locked. Slated to take place from December 11 to 13, according to a press release, the fashion showcase will feature the works of some of the leading Pakistani designers on the runway.
The showcase will take place in the country’s cultural hotspot, Lahore. TBCW will feature the collections of around 27 fashion designers. Extending his association with the event, master couturier Hassan Sheheryar Yasin will once again choreograph the show.
TBCW, which is held twice a year, is known for promoting Pakistani designer talent with their bridal show considered as one of the most eagerly-awaited events on the local fashion calendar. The names of participating fashion and jewellery designers and make-up artists are expected to be revealed soon.
Mastering her flair for bridal wear
The upcoming instalment would come on the heels of its preceding edition, which was held in June earlier this year. It featured 24 showcases by prominent Pakistani designers, such as Asifa & Nabeel, Adnan Pardesy, HSY and Zainab Chhotani. The event also witnessed celebrities, such as Ahsan Khan, Mehwish Hayat, Aijaz Aslam and Urwa Hocane, sashaying down the ramp.
Previous editions of the event have also been known for featuring theatrical performances and a dash of drama and glamour on the ramp. Among the notable designers who have exhibited their collections at previous showcases are Faraz Manan, Umar Sayeed and Ali Xeeshan.
