Insulting the judiciary: ‘Release PTI social media in charge’

The ISF president also demanded PTI Chairperson Imran Khan take notice of the issue

PESHAWAR: Insaf Student Federation (ISF) Peshawar University campus president has demanded the Federal Investigation Agency release Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf social media in charge Qazi Jalal. Speaking at a news conference at Peshawar Press Club, ISF President Shafqat Ayaz said Jalal’s exams are under way at University of Agriculture, Peshawar. “Jalal is a student of BS Computer Science at the university and he will miss his exams otherwise,” said Ayaz. “He has missed two of his papers already.” Jalal was arrested under the Pakistan Electronic Transaction Ordinance 2002 by FIA. According to a copy of the FIR available with The Express Tribune, Jalal uploaded inappropriate posts on Twitter about the family of a member of the judiciary. The complaint was filed by Qasir Ali who is the husband of Justice Irshad Qaiser. The ISF president also demanded PTI Chairperson Imran Khan take notice of the issue.
