BB Murder Case: Siegel’s cross-examination on Nov 4

The judge then adjourned the case till November 4

RAWALPINDI: The special court hearing the murder case of former premier Benazir Bhutto was informed on Wednesday that US author Mark Siegel will be available for cross-examination of his testimony on November 4 and 5. In a report submitted to anti-terrorism court Judge Ayub Khan Marth, the Foreign Office said arrangements have been made in the Pakistani Embassy in Washington DC for Siegel’s cross-examination by the defence team via video conferencing. In his report to the court, DCO Sajid Zafar Dal said the Commissioner Office has also been converted to a temporary court to allow for the cross-examination to take place there. The judge then adjourned the case till November 4, at which date witnesses SSP Tahir Ayub and Inspector Tariq Kiyani will record their statements.
