In loving memory: Jiji Zarina Baloch remembered

HYDERABAD: The Qaumi Awami Tehreek (QAT) marked the 10th death anniversary of Jiji Zarina Baloch, the wife of veteran politician and constitution lawyer Rasool Bux Palijo and the mother of QAT's president Ayaz Palijo. The anniversary events took place in many cities and villages in Sindh on Sunday. Besides her revolutionary songs, Baloch is credited for actively participating with her husband in several movements, including the One-Unit System of Gen Ayub Khan, Movement for the Restoration of Democracy during Gen Ziaul Haq's martial law and Kalabagh Dam.
