World Food Day: Awareness about quality production stressed

There is only need to harvest this potential of our talented students

Agriculture is a backbone of Pakistan’s economy and there was need to spread awareness among people about quality food production, said Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi Vice Chancellor Dr Rai Niaz Ahmad. He was addressing a seminar organised in connection with the World Food Day by the university in collaboration with Indus Consortium and Oxfam, said a press release issued here on Friday. The university students celebrated the week as food week. The vice chancellor appreciated said that positive thinking and talent of the Pakistani students was something he observed very unique in his life. “There is only need to harvest this potential of our talented students,” he added.
