
Pakistan’s Farhan Zaman and Danish Atlas Khan will be seen in action at the Chicago Open $10,000 Professional Squash Association (PSA) tournament, which will begin on Saturday in Vernon Hills, US.
Peshawar-based Zaman, who is currently ranked 68th by the PSA, is seeded second in the competition and will take on South Africa’s Thoboki Moholoin in his first main-round encounter.
Egypt’s Andrew Wagih Shoukry is the top seed while Qatar’s Abdulla Mohammad alTamimi is seeded third.
Danish is seeded fourth in the event and will lock horns with France’s Christophe Andre in his opening match.
He is aiming to start the process of redeeming his career with the Chicago Open, and will be looking to participate in more PSA events during the winter window to go up in the rankings.
The third and fourth matches of the day are: Andrew Wagih Shaukry versus Egypt’s Arturo Salazar and alTamimi versus England’s Ashley Davies.
