Addressing participants at the US Institute of Peace in Washington DC, the premier said Pakistan was an indispensable friend to the US.
While briefing the attendees over measures taken by the government, the PM said Operation Zarb-e-Azb has yielded considerable results in overcoming the menace of terrorism, Express News reported.

"All political parties in parliament are united against terrorism," he said, adding that the government also launched a crackdown on the financers and sympathisers of terrorists.
The premier criticised Indian laxity and inaction to revive talks and said Pakistan’s efforts in this regard ended in vain.
"India’s anti-Muslim actions were only giving rise to tensions in the region," he added.

Nawaz also condemned all forms and manifestations of terrorism in Afghanistan, stressing that peace in Afghanistan will help Pakistan enable the threat of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
He reiterated that Pakistan wants and supports the revival of talks between Kabul and Afghan Taliban.
While highlighting the government's economic achievements, the PM said the country's economic revival was being documented worldwide.
