Reckless driving: Two killed, three injured in accidents

MINGORA: At least two people died and three others were injured in separate road accidents in Swat on Wednesday. An official of Kabal police told The Express Tribune both incidents occurred in Kabal tehsil. “Two motorcyclists died when their vehicle skidded off the road in Koza Bhandai,” he said. According to the official, the deceased have been identified as Abdur Rahman and Gul Bacha. “They were on their way to Timergara when they had the accident,” he added. A case has been registered and further investigation is under way. The official added three people were injured in another road accident in the tehsil. “A speeding vehicle overturned in Deolai,” he said. “The injured were initially shifted to a basic health unit after which they were taken to Saidu Teaching Hospital for further treatment.” A case has been registered and further investigation is under way.
