Muharram security: Electronic monitoring system launched in Peshawar
110 online cameras would be monitoring inside Walled City and Cantt area 24 hours a day

As part of the security plan for Muharram, an electronic monitoring system was launched in Supreme Command Post at Kohati Gate in Peshawar.
Police said as many as 110 online cameras would monitor the Walled City and Cantt area 24 hours a day. The area consists more than 60 sensitive points.
A backup system has also been installed, which ensures video recording continues despite any electricity breakdown in the command post.

Meanwhile, comprehensive and elaborate Google maps have also been installed with details of routes and strategic points.
