Funds For Districts: Finance minister chairs first PFC meeting
The meeting was also attended by Minister for Local Government Inayatullah Khan
PESHAWAR:
The first meeting of the Provincial Finance Commission was held in the city on Tuesday, chaired by Minister for Finance Muzaffar Said. At the meeting, a formula for the distribution of resources among district governments was discussed in detail. It was decided the next meeting will be held on November 3 when the relevant officials will discuss the distribution formula for development funds allocated to districts from provincial proceeds. The meeting was also attended by Minister for Local Government Inayatullah Khan, and district and tehsil nazims.
