LAHORE: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has asked the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to provide lists of Form-A as it strives to collect information of registered and transferred votes of NA-122, Lahore constituency following the 2013 general elections.

In a letter to Punjab ECP, PTI's Punjab Organiser Chaudhry Sarwar said data should be provided to remove doubts regarding the credibility of voter lists.

Citing complaints from PTI voters, Sarwar claimed changes in the lists had deprived hundreds of their supporters from their right to vote during the October 11 by-polls in NA-122.

The party, he said, found out that their votes were transferred to far flung areas despite the fact that they had made no such request to the ECP.

Meanwhile, the PTI has formed a commission led by their PP-147 succeeding candidate Shoaib Siddiqi to look into the claims of the alleged changes.

Earlier, the provincial organiser had also called an All Parties Conference to formulate a joint strategy to substantiate their claims.

The ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)’s Ayaz Sadiq had won the battle royal in NA-122 after polling 4,161 votes more than its rival, Aleem Khan.
