Fawad has found a new love interest!

Pakistan's 'McDreamy' will be romancing Aishwarya Rai in KJo's upcoming film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, reported Bollywood Hungama.

The actor is all set to make a cameo appearance in ADHM and if reports are to be believed, the actor will be raising the roof with his new role. According to a report published in Pinkvilla, the Khoobsurat actor will be seen playing the role of a DJ in Karan Johar’s latest directorial.

Ever since Aishwarya’s comeback with Jazbaa, she has been seen in rather unusual pairings – first with actor Irrfan Khan and now the much younger Fawad Khan.

The film is said to mimic the 1977 movie Doosra Aadmi which had Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh in lead roles. The story shows a woman (played by Rakhee Gulzar in the 1977 film and now portrayed by Aishwarya) who has lost her beloved and many years later meets a young man who reminds her of him. However, this man is already committed.

Ranbir Kapoor plays the role of the younger man like his father did in the 1977 film, while Anushka Sharma plays the role of his girlfriend (which was played by Neetu Singh). Fascinatingly, Fawad Khan plays the role of Aishwarya’s lost love, which was earlier played by Shashi Kapoor!

When asked about the role, Aishwarya said, "It is a very interesting role, and my first for Karan Johar. We've come this close to working together so many times in the past. This time I had to say yes. It is not a conventional romantic lead. Just wait and watch."
