On the very same night around 2am, Sourat’s father, Fazal, received a call from Saddam saying that the girls were with him in Larkana and he demanded Rs0.1 million in ransom. The girls were allegedly transferred to Shikarpur and are presently living in a village that falls under the constituency of former MNA Ibrahim Jatoi. Two groups of criminals were involved in shifting the girls from Karachi. The HRCP’s Shikarpur representative, Pervaiz, said that so far the police have gone to the area twice but returned empty-handed due to the nature of the area.
