Bb Murder Case : Hearing adjourned till 26
The notices issued to Ayub in the previous hearings for not appearing before the court were cancelled
RAWALPINDI:
Hearing of the Benazir Bhutto murder case could not be held on Monday as special anti-terrorism court (ATC) judge Ayub Khan Marth was on leave. After several notices and warrants, Senior Superintendent of Police Tahir Ayub, a member of the joint investigation team, appeared before the ATC but his statement could not be recorded owing to the judge’s absence. The notices issued to Ayub in the previous hearings for not appearing before the court were cancelled. The duty judge ordered Ayub to ensure his presence at the next hearing and postponed the case till October 26. Arrest warrants were again issued to ensure the presence of Inspector Tahir Ilyas to record his statement.
