Collision: One killed, 18 injured in tractor accident

SUKKUR: One person was killed and 18 others, including children, were injured in a road accident within the limits of the Abad police station in Jacobabad on Saturday night. The villagers, hailing from Sakhi Lal Kato and Akil Unnar villages had come to witness a bull cart race at the Mehar Shah Ground. When they were returning to their villages in a tractor trolley, their vehicle collided head-on with a Mazda truck, killing one person, Bashir Ahmed Banglani, on the spot. Talib Hussain, Latif Ahmed, Arbab Ali, Manthar Ali, Hubdar Ali Bilawal Domki, Mir Hazar, Zainul-Abideen, Kando Banglani, Asghar Banglani and others were injured in the accident and were shifted to Civil hospital, Jacobabad, where the condition of four of the injured was said to be critical.
