Political Connection: ATC remands suspect into police custody
The court sent the suspect to police custody on physical remand till October 21.
KARACHI:
An anti-terrorism court remanded on Thursday a suspect affiliated with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement into police custody on charges of murdering two paramilitary soldiers. The suspect, identified as Sher Muhammad alias Sheru, was presented before the ATC-II amid tight security of the Rangers and police. The investigating officer told the court that the suspect was involved in kidnapping and killing two Rangers personnel, Munir Ahmed Bhutto and Ejaz Ahmed Baloch, in Pak Colony two years ago. The court sent the suspect to police custody on physical remand till October 21.
