Yet another case of dengue was reported in Swat, taking the total to 23 from the district this year. According to an official of the hospital, this is the first case reported from Matta this year. Momin Khan, a resident of Matta tehsil, was shifted to Saidu Teaching Hospital (STH) on Wednesday. The official added out of 23 patients in Swat, one succumbed to the deadly virus after being shifted from STH to Peshawar on Tuesday. Meanwhile, with the admission of another patient on Wednesday, the total number of dengue cases reported in Jamrud tehsil of Khyber Agency has reached three. Shahbaz Khan, a resident of Sur Kamar in Khyber Agency, was diagnosed with dengue and admitted at Khyber Teaching Hospital for treatment.
