Non-Conforming Use: Over dozen housing units sealed

The food outlets closed for business include Karm Lebanon restaurant

ISLAMABAD: As part of its ongoing drive, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Monday sealed over a dozen housing units for indulging in commercial activity. As many as 13 houses were sealed in sectors F-7 and F-8 as owners had rented out their houses to different food outlets for running businesses in violation of by-laws. Last week, the authority sealed some 23 houses in different sectors for non-conforming use of residential units. The food outlets closed for business include Karm Lebanon restaurant, House of Bombay, Hang Chen, Café Soul, Blue Moon, Café Lazeez, Tai Zu, Sori Rocca, Siana, Vastro Club, and Picolo restaurant.
