The Wah Cantonment police claimed to have solved a blind murder case by arresting a woman, who allegedly had her husband killed by two men.

According to the police, Khurram Shahzad was killed a few days back and a blind murder case had been lodged against unknown persons.

During the investigation, police collected cell phone data of the victim and arrested a suspect, identified as Zahid Hussain, who was in contact with Shahzad before his death.

During the investigation, Hussain disclosed that he had befriended Shahzad’s wife Samina and wanted her to divorce him.

But Shahzad was not willing to divorce her despite her repeated demands, Hussain told the police.

According to the police, Hussain and his accomplice, Rashid, hatched a plot, called Shahzad to a deserted place and shot him dead before dumping his body in Bajar, a nearby locality. The police later took Samina and Rashid into custody and also recovered the weapon, used to kill Shahzad.
