AJ talks about a possible tour for two of '90s pop's hottest bands.

Can it get any better than this? Two favourite bands of the '90s are planning to come together for a tour and we can hardly contain our excitement!

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Back Street Boys' member AJ McLean discussed the probability of the Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys uniting for a tour.

"The Spice Girls tour has been this idea bouncing around for the past year and a half, and it's something we're still talking about," said the singer without delving too much into the matter.

He also announced that the band will return to the studio and have roped in a new producer. "We're going back in on the 12th [October] to dust off the cobwebs. We're working with a new producer, Jay Cash, who wrote Sugar for Maroon 5. This is just the beginning phase, but we're hoping to have the album done before our cruise in May," he added.

The band's last album was their first independent release, 2013's In A World Like This.
