NBP Ranking Snooker Championship: Shahram beats Imran, Shah stuns Asjad
Asif Toba recovers from 3-1 down to win 4-3 on day three

Shahram Changezi registered a vital 4-3 win over Imran Shahzad on day three of the 7th NBP Ranking Snooker Championship at the NBP Sports Complex in Karachi.
The two veterans were involved in a close battle.
In the end, Imran not only ran out of luck but also out of frames, as the pattern continued with Shahram winning the decider to end the game 123-05, 48-72, 73-23, 55-57, 74-22, 08-75, 70-47.
Meanwhile, another senior player Khurram Agha had little trouble dishing out a 4-2 win over Sultan Mohammad — once ranked number two in the national ranking charts — by scores of 16-67, 0-94, 72-55, 63-28, 64-55, 60-40.
The match of the day was played between Zulfiqar Qadir and Mohammad Asif Toba, who came back from 3-1 down to win 4-3.
There was very little to choose between the two as Toba won 73-23, 48-66, 53-63, 41-51, 73-13, 52-23, 54-43.
In an upset, Shah Khan stunned prolific Asjad Iqbal, winning 4-1 by 63-46, 104-01, 62-27, 39-76, 71-52.
Youngster Mohammad Majid Ali kept himself alive by defeating Muhammad Imran 4-0, while Rambail Gul won 4-2 against Aakash Rafique.
Shahid Aftab, who has been in good form of late, notched a convincing 4-1 victory over Uzair Aziz while Muhammad Bilal beat Ian Mark John 4-2 to end the latter’s flying start to the championship.
In other matches, Sharjeel Mehmood, Sohail Shahzad and Muhammad Faheem registered 4-2 wins over Muhammad Toufiq Jhori, Ahsan Javaid and Muhammad Faizan respectively.
