Pottery making: Special children receive training at Lok Virsa

A group of special children participated in the ongoing pottery training programme at Pakistan National Museum of Ethnology (Heritage Museum) at Lok Virsa. Tayyaba Rasool, Maham, Sana, Aneela, Sidra, Umeed-e-Sehr, Aqsa, Kausar, Laila and Saadia Khan from capital were among the group.

A group of special children participated in the ongoing pottery training programme at Pakistan National Museum of Ethnology (Heritage Museum) at Lok Virsa. Tayyaba Rasool, Maham, Sana, Aneela, Sidra, Umeed-e-Sehr, Aqsa, Kausar, Laila and Saadia Khan from capital were among the group.
The event is attracting a large number of children, aged between six and 14 years. Apart from these special children, 50 other students from various schools of twin cities including Federal Directorate of Education and Pakistan Baitul Mal administered schools.
Master trainers, Sardar Ali from KP, Faqir Muhammad from Sindh, Naveed Ahmad from Punjab and Niaz Ahmad from Saidpur village Islamabad, are providing training to these children. There is no registration fee and raw material for craft making is also being provided by Lok Virsa.
