“I didn’t win it (the award). I barely have five years of experience in the field,” she said. “In my opinion, Amna Ilyas deserved to win [and if not her, then] Nooray Bhatti. Not only were they the right contenders, but they’ve also been in the industry for eight years. So, better luck next time to me,” added the 25-year-old.

Baber has been busy with a string of projects, including fashion shoots for designer Ammara Khan. She’ll soon be modelling for the So Kamal prêt collection. She’ll also be seen strutting her stuff at Fashion Pakistan Week, a showcase slated to take place in October in Karachi.
Now the face of Sana Safinaz lawn for a third year, she’s gearing up to shoot for the brand’s 2016 collection come December. Thrilled to be a part of the award-winning label, she stated, “It’s my third year [being the lawn ambassador for Sana Safinaz].”

On whether she’s contemplating foraying into television or film, she said, “I might consider it if it’s a good role. It all depends on the role.” In terms of her personal life, Baber isn’t ready to settle down yet. “If I find the right person, I might just get hitched. But for now, I’m single.”
