PESHAWAR: National Accountability Bureau K-P arrested income tax department supervisor Muhammad Siddique on Monday for accumulating assets beyond known sources of income. Taking note, NAB authorised an enquiry to determine facts and collect evidence on the moveable and immoveable properties in the name of the suspect or his dependents.  It was revealed that Siddique belongs to a humble family based in Abbottabad. However, he managed to accumulate assets well beyond his known sources of income while serving at the department. The enquiry managed to establish that Siddique owned expensive properties in Abbottabad and Islamabad. After further investigation, a reference would be filed against the suspect in an accountability court. He would subsequently be produced before the court for obtaining his physical remand.
