Security situation: Corps Commander meets governor

KARACHI: Corps Commander Lieutenant General Naveed Mukhtar called on Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan on Monday.  The spokesperson for Governor House said the law and order situation, especially the ongoing targeted operation in Karachi, was discussed at the meeting.  “Before the advent of Muharram, the law and order situation is being discussed and this meeting was part of that discussion,” an official said, adding that the apex committee meeting will also be held soon to review the progress of the National Action Plan in Sindh.
