Help: Zookeeper attacked by lions
Zoo officials gathered around the cage and helped free the zookeeper
BAHAWALPUR:
The zookeeper in charge of feeding the lions at Bahawalpur Zoo was attacked by a lion and a lioness on Saturday. He was badly injured and taken to a hospital for treatment. Zoo officials said Fayyaz used to feed the lions. On Saturday, he was asked to move newborn cubs to another cage. He was picking up the cubs when the lioness attacked him. Fayyaz managed to free himself but then the lion attacked. Visitors at the zoo started screaming. Zoo officials gathered around the cage and helped free the zookeeper. Fayyaz was taken to Bahawal Victoria Hospital for treatment.
