‘Taste of Italy’ festival begins in Lahore, Rawalpindi

Italian envoy inaugurates event at Greenvalley Hypermarket in Bahria Town Lahore

RAWALPINDI:
The Taste of Italy Festival kicked off in Bahria Town communities of Lahore and Rawalpindi on Friday. The event will continue till October 22, according to a press release issued by Bahria Town.

Italian Ambassador Tommaso Sansone kicked off the festival at Greenvalley Premium Hypermarket in Bahria Town Lahore. He was accompanied by Elena Claudia Di Vito, first secretary and head of the Italian embassy’s Economic, Cultural and Press Office. Cdre (retd) Ayyaz and Cdre (retd) Ilyas VCE Bahria Town also graced the occasion. Event was attended by a number of celebrities and socialites from different walks of life.


Ambassador Sansone expressed his delight upon seeing the positive response of Italian products from the Pakistani market. He was pleasantly surprised to see scale, logistics and quality of Bahria Town development, according to the press release..

Bahria Town Chairman Malik Riaz Hussain stated at the occasion that Bahria Town takes the credit for bringing and facilitating hundreds of international brands and will continue bringing the finest international names to Pakistan.
