Brothel in a clinic: A quack along with seven others arrested for ‘immoral activities’

Koral Police carry out raid on homeopathic clinic based on a tip off.

ISLAMABAD: The city police arrested eight people including four women for their alleged involvement in ‘immoral activities’ and prostitution on Wednesday. On a tip off provided by an informer, the Koral Police carried out a raid on a homeopathic clinic, which later proved to be fake, and arrested four women and four men ‘red handed’.

The clinic located in Ghauri Town, Khanna Dak area was run by Shehnaz Bibi, the so-called homeopathic doctor.

A police official said, “Shehnaz failed to produce any documented evidence proving her to be a
doctor; neither could she produce the license for the clinic.”

He added that the place did not look like a clinic from any angle.

According to the police, all four men Mazhar Iqbal, Aman Ullah, Shah Zeb and Saqib Hussain were the customers. A case was registered against them.

Similarly Waheeda Begum who was being assisted by Shehnaz in running the alleged brothel and two girls Shazia Naz* and Misbah Bibi*, the alleged sex workers, were booked for their involvement in the crime.
