International Day Of Older Persons: Celebrating senior citizens
Mughal added that the senior citizens have great wisdom, experience and knowledge
SUKKUR:
Religious scholars and educational institutions have a huge responsibility on their shoulders to sensitise young generation to the rights and privileges of senior citizens, said adviser to the Chief Minister Dr Arshad Mughal in an International Day of Older Persons event organised by a local NGO, on Thursday. He said that the day highlights the rights of senior citizens and our obligations, at individual and collective levels, to make sure that those rights are fulfilled. Mughal added that the senior citizens have great wisdom, experience and knowledge, as they have been through thick and thin in life. “They are our best support and a great source of encouragement and we are in need of this solace,” he said.
