Property dispute: Three suspects arrested in murder case

The suspects were allegedly involved in killing their sister-in-law, Rukhsana, and her brother, Uzair Buriro

Ghotki police arrested three suspects from Kassowal, Punjab, on Sunday evening, for their alleged involvement in a murder that was committed in Shah Latif Colony, Daharki, a week ago.


A police team, led by the Daharki SHO Bachal Qazi, raided a house in Kassowal and arrested the three accused men, Azam, Nadeem and Saleem. The suspects were allegedly involved in killing their sister-in-law, Rukhsana, and her brother, Uzair Buriro.


According to the police, the suspects confessed to the crime and admitted that they had a dispute with their sister-in-law over property. Earlier, Rukhsana’s husband, Advocate Muhammad Aslam Buriro, was also killed under mysterious circumstances. Daharki police station head constable Riaz Ahmed Selro said  the deceased woman’s father, Muhammad Siddiq Buriro, lodged an FIR against the three accused, who were then arrested by the police.
