Sindh Chief Secretary Muhammad Siddique Memon directed the planning and development department officials to devise a plan of action for the urgent implementation of the Karachi Greater S-III (sewerage) project.
Memon was addressing a meeting on Monday called to review the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) projects in the metropolis. The Defence Housing Authority, cantonment boards and Karachi Port Trust must also be taken on board to ensure effectiveness of the projects. Memon requested the KWSB chief to complete a feasibility report of the projects within three days. KWSB officials were also asked to share details of the investigation regarding the encroachments on the KWSB land.
