Haddin was an important part of the Michael Clarke-led Australian team before he retired from Test cricket after the Ashes loss to the England cricket team.
Earlier, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) unveiled PSL's logo and its official anthem which is scheduled to be held in February 2016 in the UAE.

The ceremony was held at EXPO center where almost all stars of Pakistan cricket team, singers, actors, actresses and other celebrities made an appearance.
The four provincial capitals – Quetta, Lahore, Karachi and Peshawar will be joined by Islamabad in a five-team and 24-matches tournament.
PCB chairman Sheharyar Khan said that PSL is the biggest event of the country adding they had made similar attempts in past but could not succeed. He was optimistic that the endeavour by the PCB will be fruiful this time.
Gordon Greenidge, Chaminda Vaas, Andy Moles, Robin Singh, and Chris Adams have also consented to be on the #PSLt20 coach roster!

Najam Sethi the chairman governing council said that PSL is the biggest event of Pakistan’s history that will help flourish the game of cricket in Pakistan.
He added that even when foreign players were offered higher pays in an attempt to convince them to play in Pakistan, they refused the offer and preferred playing in the PSL overseas.
Sethi also said that the matches of the PSL will be aired live in cinemas for the Pakistani audience.

He said that 120 players expressed their wish to play in the PSL which include the likes of Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo, Grant Elliot, Lasith Malinga, Kieron Pollard, Luke Wright, Darren Sammy, Kevin Pietersen. He also said that the teams will be headed by foreigner coaches.
While talking to the media, Pakistan Test captain Misbahul Haq said that he has been emphasizing to hold an event like PSL for years and it is a good sign that the idea is finally being materialised.
Wasim Akram was also present at the event and said that this is not an event for cricketers and the PCB only but it is a representation of Pakistan.

Rameez Raja, one of the ambassadors of PSL, said that this is the time to gather the whole nation on a single platform and make this event successful. This league will bring benefit for cricket in Pakistan.
