Deepika wins Woman of the Year at GQ Awards 2015

The Bollywood beauty bagged this title for a second time this year

This is Deepika's year. The bold, talented and beautiful actress is unfettered in her conviction towards success and there's no slowing her down.

According to a report published in IBTimes, she has won Woman of the Year at GQ awards -- winning the title for the second time this year. She had earlier bagged the same title at IIFA Awards in June. The actress has been on a roller coaster ride of late; she battled depression, faced backlash for her controversial Vogue Women Empowerment video, and saw the box office success of her film Piku. She has rightfully become one of the most sought after women in tinsel town.

She wasn't the only one who went home with an award, Akshay Kumar won The Ultimate GQ Man Award. The Singh is Kinng actor dressed to impress in a suave tux and clean shaven look.

Shahid Kapoor has also been flying high on success. The Bollywood actor, who is already busy making headlines, was awarded Actor of the Year at the event. He was spotted sporting a full grown beard at the award show, ditching the bad boy avatar and opting for a mature look.
