Services tribunal: Heirs may plead cases of parents

ISLAMABAD:
A three-member bench of the Federal Services Tribunal (FST) has declared that the legal heirs of a civil servant would be eligible to plead cases of their deceased parents as parties, if they die during the pendency of cases involving financial benefits. The bench, headed by FST chairman Justice (retd) Sheikh Ahmed Farooq, has announced its decision after hearing a number of petitions filed by employees of various departments.
