Never forget: DPO pays tribute to martyred cops

BAHAWALPUR: “We will not forget the sacrifices of the policemen who lost their lives in the line of duty. On this joyous day, we salute our martyrs,” Bahawalpur DPO Sarfraz Ahmad Falki said in his address at the District Police Lines on Eid Day (Friday). RPO Ehsan Sadiq and the DPO offered Eid prayers at the District Police Lines. Falki inspected a guard of honour and placed flowers on a monument paying tribute to policemen who had died during service due to terrorist activities.  He said that he was humbled to be a captain of a force that had a long list of martyrs. “These policemen laid their lives in service to the nation and have made a place for themselves in the hearts of people.”  Falki said he saluted the martyrs who had taken bullets to the chest to protect thousands of innocent lives.
