On Friday, General Raheel was present in Khyber Agency where he offered prayers marking the occasion of Eidul Azha.
"COAS in Khyber Agency, offered prayers, exchanged greetings. Commended soldiers for being in the line of duty on Eid. He was briefed about operations," Bajwa tweeted.

Further, General Raheel, according to Bajwa "emphasised the need to work at all levels, on preventing terrorists from establishing bases across border and infiltrating into Pakistan."

The statements come a day after General Raheel said that continuous ceasefire violations by India along the Line of Control (LoC) and the Working Boundary could not distract Pakistan from its war on terror, warning that the military could handle two different wars.
General Raheel visited forward locations along the LoC on Thursday where he met with troops deployed on heights overlooking the Kashmir valley.
