KARACHI: Under the supervision of Karachi Commissioner Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui, a committee will be formed, comprising representatives of all political parties and welfare organisations that are involved in the collection of animal hides, as well as the police and Rangers. This was decided in a meeting of the provincial minister for local bodies, Nasir Hussain Shah, with the commissioner and representatives of various political parties and non-governmental organisations, to discuss the implementation of the code of conduct for collecting animal hides. Shah said that each organisation will have to contribute a percentage of their earnings toward a fund meant for victims of terrorism.
