On Hold Till Eid: Schedule to repatriate Afghans revised

PESHAWAR: UNHCR Voluntary Repatriation Centres (VRC) in Chamkani and Baleli received a revised schedule for the return of Afghan refugees who hold Proof of Registration (PoR) or UNHCR-issued refugee cards on account of Eidul Azha. The Chamkani VRC in Peshawar will remain closed from September 22 to September 27 and will resume work on September 28. The Baleli VRC in Quetta, Balochistan will remain closed from September 22 to September 26 and will resume work on September 27. Encashment Centres in Afghanistan will remain closed from September 23 to September 27. They will resume operations on September 28.
