CTD arrests two suspects linked with foreign spy agencies
Nadeem alias Uncle was an employee of the KWSB and was linked with Indian spy agency

The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) claims to have arrested a suspect affiliated with the Indian spy agency, the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW).
The suspect, identified as Nadeem alias Uncle, was taken into custody from Nazimabad in a raid conducted on a tip-off, revealed CTD SSP Naveed Khawaja on Monday.
SSP Khawaja added that the suspect was a RAW operative, trained in India and was involved in terrorism activities in the city. He was currently employed at the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board. According to sources, the arrest has been made in connection with the case of four other alleged RAW agents, who were picked up last month from Gulsitan-e-Jauhar.
Meanwhile, the CTD formally announced on Monday the arrest of a suspect involved in the recent targeted killing spree in the city that include the murder of a journalist.
Nearly a week after he was reportedly taken into custody, the CTD's sectarian intelligence group's SSP Amir Farooqi told the media that Zeeshan Haider Zaidi had confessed to killing journalist Aftab Alam and five others.
According to the police, the suspect, who is also an employee of the KWSB, said that three shooting teams of the SMP were operating in the city, out of which he lead one.
