The frontier crimes regulation (FCR) is an open violation of human rights, why doesn't the govt repeal or modify it?
HONG KONG: This is with reference to Arshad Mehmood’s article “Time to repeal the FCR” published on December 28. The frontier crimes regulation is an open violation of human rights and the article rightly makes this point.
What I don’t understand is that why doesn’t the government repeal or, at the very least, modify this bad law?
