LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge on Saturday directed the Lahore CCPO to investigate a petition seeking registration of a case against 40 unidentified persons who attacked a protest camp for the recovery of stolen relics. Pir SA Jafri told the court that the protest camp had been established near the court. “Some people armed with clubs attacked them,” he said. Jafri said that he had asked the Old Anarkali SHO to register a case but he had not done so.
