Handed Over: FATA Olympic Association office closed

The office itself was handed over to Director Mohibbullah Khan

PESHAWAR: The FATA Olympic Association office was closed down on Monday. The office, which was situated in a hostel in the Qayyum Sports Complex, was handed over to Pakistan Sports Board under the supervision of Pakistan Sports Board Coaching Centre Director Mohibbullah Khan, FATA Sports Director Muhammad Ayaz and the area police. The office came into being in 2011, hence it came to an automatic end in June 2015. Since then it has been lying vacant, which is why it FATA Sports Directorate shifted all the furniture and belongings of the office to FATA Directorate under the supervision of the police. The office itself was handed over to Director Mohibbullah Khan. The office came into being following a verbal permission given by former governor of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Shaukatullah. However, no paperwork was done in this regard then.
