LAHORE:


A consumer court on Saturday issued a notice to the proprietor of a furniture shop in connection with a petition seeking Rs500,000 in damages for allegedly selling defective pieces.

Petitioner Muhammad Ramazan had told the court that there were cracks in the bed and dining table purchased from the respondent for his daughter’s dowry.
