Beautification: Cannon mounted at Farid Gate

A spokesman of the commissioner’s office said the cannon had been moved from Derawar Fort

BAHAWALPUR: The district government of Bahawalpur on Friday mounted a 200-year-old cannon at Farid Gate. A spokesman of the commissioner’s office said the cannon had been installed at one of the busiest intersections of the city. He said the cannon had been moved from Derawar Fort. He said it had been repaired and restored before it was installed at Farid Gate.
