Steady supply: PESCO gearing up for Eid

PESHAWAR: Managing Director for Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) Umer Rasool directed company officials to ensure power supply is steady during Eidul Azha in the city. Rasool, together with Pesco HR GM Saghir Ahmad and other high-ranking officials, visited the power utility’s headquarters on Friday. The field officers were directed to recover arrears on an urgent basis and were warned that action will be taken against those who fail to achieve their targets. They also directed the officials concerned to replace the damaged electricity meters immediately and increase their efforts to stop line losses and power theft.
