Cabinet session: Ziaullah’s comments against CM flayed

The ENT ward has discharged him but since he has some cardiac problem he will now be treated

PESHAWAR: The comments against Chief Minister Pervez Khattak made by former minister for mines and mineral development Ziaullah Afridi at the previous assembly session were condemned at a session of the provincial cabinet held on Friday. Since Ziaullah also pointed fingers at the Ehtesab Commission, Minister for Information Mushtaq Ghani, who was also present at the cabinet session, said Ziaullah was one of those who voted for the establishment of the commission. On the other hand, Lady Reading Hospital administration told The Express Tribune Ziaullah has recovered from his throat infection and is now being treated for his cardiovascular problem. Soon after his arrest, Ziaullah complained of a throat infection, following which he was taken to the hospital. He was admitted to the ENT ward of LRH but was kept at the medico-legal ward for some days. However, the ENT ward has discharged him but since he has some cardiac problem he will now be treated in the relevant department.
