Express December 27, 2010

Sindh Advocate General Yusuf Laghari resigned from his position on Sunday due to his ongoing dispute with the law ministry.

A cold dispute started off when the previous Sindh Law Minister questioned the performance of Yusuf Laghari. The dispute culminated in the advocate general resigning.

Sindh Additional Advocate General Fata Malik is expected to fill in the now vacant position.

Yusuf Laghari was appointed Advocate General Sindh by the Law Ministry two and half years back for representing the government in the High Court.
