Veena Malik or Mathira? Or Qandeel Baloch? Who would you pick?

KARACHI: A few days ago, when rumours were rife that Daniel Craig was being replaced, we suggested 9 names of Pakistani celebrities who would make the ideal Bond.

It was difficult to pick one as there was a tie between heartthrob Fawad Khan and popular TV host, Aamir Liaquat (we are not making this up).

Well, we thought, if we are on the look out for 'Jamshed' Bond why not also try imagining what it would be like if iconic character from the Bond series, Bond Girl, was played by a Pakistani actress. Sounds fun, right?

Let the hunt begin!

1. Meera

Meera jee, had to do the "opaneng zeroMoney" of the competition. Meera jee has the style, the wit and she's quite good at making bold comments about everything.

We tried contacting her to ask how she would feel if she was offered this coveted role but then we discovered that she already got the offer, but due to her busy schedule, she had to decline. Meera jee, you go girl!

2. Sohai Ali Abro

Sohai would make an extremely entertaining Bond Girl. She can bring the element of dance and drama in the role, something new for the audience, and can also give some beauty tips to maybe, Bond or her targets in the movie. Because you know, fair and loveley ka jalwa can do wonders.

3. Mawra Hocane

Hocane (Hussain) would fit the role of a sidekick and secret agent very well. The mystery behind her surname is enough to label her as one. Hocane, naam tou suno hoga.

4. Mathira

"Coochie coochie poo," Mathira, will be a mysterious Bond Girl. Aggresive, always ready to fight, she's got the looks and definitely the class (at least that's what she claims) to fit the role. There's only one competitor she fears, and she's quite 'Marveluuss'. Can you guess who?

5. Nida Yasir

Before we move on to Mathira's competition, let's make a quick call to Nida Yasir and see if she will take this chance and compete for the title.

.......

'Wrong Number', definitely.

6. Qandeel Baloch

Mathira's one and only fear, Miss Baloch. Now, if some of you don't know how she is, you are probably living in a cave.

The most over-dramatic celebrity in history, if Qandeel is Bond Girl she will definitely be the easiest to catch as she chooses to post almost everything about her life on social media. Just imagine what it's going to be like if she miraculously did get the role...

"Mmmm Bond, how em lookin'?"

Definitely feeling marr jaon (she posted this on Facebook recently, no jokes) right now.

7. Veena Malik

Veena Malik would fit the role almost perfectly. She would be one of those Bond Girls who lived her life and then chose to cut herself off from the rest of the world by settling down with her significant other. Well she's still pretty much 'wanted', though.

8. Ayaan Ali

SCREENGRAB

Flashy style, check. Money, check. Nobody has any idea where all that money came from, check. Did her time, check. Lived like a boss in prison, check. Came out and gave a lecture to the youth, check! Ayaan has got all the traits to play the Bond girl.

9. Shahista Wahidi

Last, but not least, the real Bond Girl, the don of morning shows -- whatever you want to call her -- is a perfect choice for the role. Number one on the 'wanted list', went under the radar and is now back with a bang. She's definitely the next Bond Girl, guys!
