Helping the economy: President Zardari inaugurates mobile banking service

President vows to establish new industrial zones across the country, saying they would enable thousands to get jobs.

NAUDERO: President Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday inaugurated a mobile banking service named after slain chairperson of the Pakistan Peoples Party – Benazir Bhutto.

Vowing to establish new industrial zones across the country, he said that they would enable thousands of people to get jobs.

The president said that he would continue to serve the masses without giving a second thought to ‘political actors’. “Eliminating poverty “is our duty”, he said.

Highlighting the project’s key features, he said that it would also help promote e-banking, besides providing women protection and rescue facility.

He vowed to protect women’s rights and said cash grants would empower women.

He said that users “will be able to register complaints against police officials or people committing any excess”.
